All FE/HE organisations that have a student portal which is registered with UK Federation ( will automatically have the portal option available for their students to verify with on the TOTUM application. Please note, the portal verification option only works for students, it will not work for staff who will need to use the email verification option instead.

If you've only recently provided these details to UK Federation then please let us know so we can double check the portal is set up on your account.

If your students report issues with the portal, please double-check with your IT team that the link you have provided to UK Fed is up to date and active on your side. If you're confident the details being shared with them are correct and you're still having trouble with the portal, please let us know by creating a ticket at the top of this page.
